The National Cybercrime Investigation Agency has announced 351 vacancies for candidates from across Pakistan. Seven different positions are part of the recruitment, ranging from Sub Inspector and Technical Assistant to Constable and Constable Driver.
The closing date for applications is September 7, 2026. Anyone planning to apply needs to meet the education, experience, age and physical requirements listed for the selected post before submitting the online form.
The largest number of seats is available for Constable BS-05, with 174 vacancies. There are also 64 posts for Constable Drivers in BS-05 and 48 Sub Inspector posts in BS-14.
The remaining positions are 36 Assistant Sub Inspectors in BS-09, 15 Technical Assistants in BS-14, 8 Stenotypists in BS-14, and 6 Upper Division Clerks in BS-11.
For every position, the listed age range is 18 to 25 years. The advertisement also gives quota distribution for different provinces and regions, along with merit and reserved categories.
The Sub Inspector seats are spread across several regions. The advertisement lists 4 seats on merit, along with 20 for Punjab, 5 for Sindh Rural, 3 for Sindh Urban, 5 for KPK, 3 for Balochistan, 1 for Ex-FATA, 1 for AJK and 1 for GB.
For Technical Assistant, the listed distribution includes 1 merit seat and 6 seats for Punjab. Sindh Rural has 2 seats, while Sindh Urban has 1. KPK has 2, Balochistan has 1 and Ex-FATA has 1 seat.
The Stenotypist quota includes 1 merit seat. Punjab has 3 seats, while Sindh Rural, Sindh Urban, KPK and Balochistan each have 1 seat.
For UDC, the table shows 1 merit seat, 3 Punjab seats, 1 Sindh Rural seat and 1 KPK seat.
Assistant Sub Inspector has 3 merit seats and 15 seats for Punjab. Sindh Rural has 3 seats, Sindh Urban has 2, KPK has 3, Balochistan has 2, Ex-FATA has 1 and AJK has 1 seat.
The Constable quota gives 14 seats on merit and 74 for Punjab. Sindh Rural has 17 seats, Sindh Urban has 11, KPK has 17, Balochistan has 9, Ex-FATA has 4, AJK has 3 and GB has 2 seats. The Constable Driver section lists its regional distribution separately in the advertisement.
A Sub Inspector applicant needs a 2nd Class or Grade C Bachelor Degree, post-Intermediate Associate Degree or a four-year BS degree in a relevant field.
The accepted fields listed in the advertisement include Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Digital Forensics, Telecom or Electrical Engineering, and Data Science. An equivalent qualification from a university recognized by HEC is also listed.
For the Sub Inspector post, the minimum height is 5 feet 6 inches for male candidates and 5 feet 2 inches for female candidates. Male candidates also need a chest measurement of 33 x 34.5 inches.
There are 15 Technical Assistant BS-14 vacancies. The educational requirement follows the same technology-related degree categories listed for Sub Inspector, including Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Digital Forensics, Telecom or Electrical Engineering and Data Science.
One additional condition makes this post different. Candidates need three years of post-qualification experience. No minimum physical measurement is listed for Technical Assistant in the advertisement.
There are also specific skill requirements. Shorthand speed must be at least 80 words per minute, while typing speed needs to reach 40 words per minute. Computer literacy is also required.
The advertisement offers 6 UDC vacancies in BS-11. Intermediate is the required qualification.
Selected candidates have another requirement after selection. A three-week IT Basic Training Course, including MS Office, has to be completed through NITB within one year.
There are 36 Assistant Sub Inspector vacancies in BS-09. A 2nd Class or Grade C Bachelor Degree is required, with BA, BS or a post-Intermediate Associate Degree listed in the advertisement. The degree must come from an HEC-recognized university.
The minimum height is 5 feet 6 inches for men and 5 feet 2 inches for women. A chest requirement is also shown under the physical standards for this position, though the measurement is not visible in the supplied table text.
With 174 vacancies, Constable is the biggest recruitment category in this advertisement. Candidates need Matriculation with 2nd Class from a recognized Board.
For male candidates, the listed chest measurement is 33 x 34.5 inches. The quota table separately shows seats for Punjab, Sindh Rural, Sindh Urban, KPK, Balochistan, Ex-FATA, AJK and GB.
The Constable Driver category has 64 vacancies. Matriculation with 2nd Class from a recognized Board is required, along with an LTV or HTV license issued by a licensing authority in Pakistan.
Vision is also specified. Both eyes must have 6/6 vision without glasses. The advertisement asks for the ability to drive cars and light vehicles, along with knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
The endurance test involves a one-mile run, equal to 1.6 km. Male candidates have to finish within 7 minutes, while female candidates have 10 minutes to complete the run. Height and chest measurements are checked as required for the relevant post.
A candidate has to meet the required physical measurements and pass the endurance test before moving to the Computer Based Test (CBT).
Applications are being accepted online through the National Police Foundation Testing and Assessment Service recruitment portal at www.npftas.pk. The deadline is September 7, 2026.
The processing and testing fee is Rs. 2,000 for each application and each post. Payment is available through the 1Link-1Bill service using a bank, ATM, Internet Banking, EasyPaisa, JazzCash or UPaisa.
A 22-digit PSID is generated on the fee challan through the online application portal. This PSID is used for payment. The fee is non-refundable.
Anyone applying for more than one post has to submit a separate application for every post and pay Rs. 2,000 separately for each one. Applications sent by hand, courier or through another channel will not be accepted.
There is no need to send documents, photographs or forms in hard copy before the interview stage. Updates are sent through the application portal, SMS and email.
By September 7, 2026, applicants need to have the required education and experience for their chosen post. They also need to meet the age limit given for the position on the same date.
The advertisement provides age relaxation under the Initial Appointment to Civil Posts (Relaxation of Upper Age Limits) Rules 1993, including a general five-year relaxation. No relaxation is allowed in the lower age limit, physical standards or endurance test.

No TA or DA is provided for the Physical and Endurance Tests, written CBT, Skill Tests or Interview. A Roll No. Slip and original CNIC or Passport are required before appearing in these stages. A separate Roll No. Slip is issued for each stage.
Technical Assistant and UDC appointees also have to qualify the prescribed NITB IT Training Course before completion of the probation period.
Applicants need to provide correct information and genuine documents during the recruitment process. If any information or document is found to be fake or bogus, the application will be cancelled and legal action will be taken. The same rule applies during recruitment and after appointment.
The advertisement also mentions Sections 420, 468 and 471 of the Pakistan Penal Code. Under the warning in the notice, false information is a criminal offense and carries punishment of up to 7 years in prison.
